1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) are entered into by and between Mentorlism (“Mentor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) and the client (“Mentee”, “you” or “your”). This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which we provide mentoring services. By signing up for our mentoring services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Scope of Services

We provide personalised mentoring services, which may include career guidance, personal development advice, coaching sessions, and other related services designed to support your goals. The specific details of the mentoring service will be agreed upon before commencement and may be customised based on the needs of the Mentee.

3. Mentoring Relationship

The mentoring relationship is collaborative and based on mutual respect. The Mentor will provide guidance, share expertise, and support the Mentee in achieving their goals. However, the Mentor does not guarantee any particular outcomes. The Mentee is responsible for their own decisions and actions, and the Mentor will not be held liable for any results from the mentoring relationship.

4. Eligibility

To be eligible for our mentoring services, you must be at least 18 years of age. If under 18, parental or guardian consent is required, and we reserve the right to request verification of age or consent.

5. Fees and Payment Terms

  • Mentoring Packages: Fees for mentoring services will be based on the chosen package or service and will be clearly communicated prior to starting the mentoring relationship.
  • Payment: All payments must be made in advance of sessions, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payments via Paypal.
  • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or rescheduling of sessions require at least 48 hours’ notice. If notice is not provided within this timeframe, the full session fee will be charged.
  • Refunds: Refunds will only be issued under exceptional circumstances and are at the discretion of the Mentor. If the Mentee fails to attend a scheduled session without notice, no refunds will be provided.

6. Confidentiality

We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all information shared during mentoring sessions. Any personal or professional details discussed will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. The only exceptions to this are:

  • When required by law.
  • If the Mentee consents to sharing information for specific purposes (e.g., providing a reference).
  • If there is an indication of harm to oneself or others.

7. Responsibilities of the Mentee

As a Mentee, you agree to:

  • Attend scheduled mentoring sessions on time.
  • Be open and honest with the Mentor about your goals, challenges, and progress.
  • Be proactive in implementing advice and guidance provided during mentoring sessions.
  • Respect the boundaries of the mentoring relationship and maintain a professional attitude.

8. Responsibilities of the Mentor

As your Mentor, we will:

  • Provide personalised advice and support based on our experience and knowledge.
  • Maintain professionalism and respect throughout the mentoring relationship.
  • Be prepared for each session and provide guidance to the best of our abilities.
  • Respond to any queries or concerns the Mentee may have within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Limitations of Liability

While we strive to provide valuable guidance, we make no warranties or guarantees regarding specific results or outcomes from the mentoring relationship. The Mentor is not responsible for decisions or actions taken by the Mentee as a result of mentoring advice. In no event shall the Mentor be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

10. Intellectual Property

Any materials, frameworks, methodologies, or content provided by the Mentor during sessions are protected by intellectual property laws and remain the property of the Mentor. The Mentee agrees not to reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit such materials without prior written consent from the Mentor.

11. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the mentoring relationship at any time with written notice. If the Mentee chooses to terminate the relationship, any unused prepaid fees will not be refunded unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Mentor may also terminate the relationship if they feel the Mentee is not benefiting from the service or is not upholding their responsibilities.

12. Non-Compete and Non-Solicitation

The Mentee agrees not to solicit or attempt to solicit any of the Mentor’s clients, employees, or business partners for similar services during the term of this Agreement and for 12 months after its termination, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from this Agreement, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be referred to mediation or arbitration before taking any legal action.

14. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Australia. Any legal proceedings arising from this Agreement must be brought within the courts of Australia.

15. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to the Mentee, and continued use of the mentoring services will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
